Meet Our Founder
Umair Shauban is the founder of the GCSE Coaches Academy.
After achieving 7 Grade 9s and 3 Grade 8s at Forest Gate Community School, he focused on neuroscience and cognitive development to refine the most effective methods for mastering exam performance.
Those methods form the foundation of GCSE Coaches today.
The institution was built around a simple idea – that high academic performance is not random, but the result of clear systems, disciplined execution, and the right environment.
Over time, these methods were tested, refined, and applied across students of different abilities and backgrounds – consistently producing the same outcome: clarity, confidence, and top grades.
This is not dependent on talent or luck. It is built on method.
That is what students step into here.
Umair’s GCSE Results
Achieved in 2 months of focused preparation. These results formed the basis of the methods used at GCSE Coaches today.
Our Early Days
Before our current headquarters, sessions were run in public spaces across Forest Gate, Manor Park, and Redbridge Library.
